I'm originally from Toronto, Canada, and I am very happy to be back for my fourth year at AST teaching Grade 1! After graduating with my B.A. from University of Toronto and then B.Ed. from University of Ottawa, I spent a year in Korea teaching pre-K, before moving to Taiwan. I love teaching our youngest learners because not only do they make me feel young, but supporting their physical, academic, emotional growth is so exciting and important to their first year of school. Outside of school, I love spending quality time with my husband and two young sons, including a baby in palliative care since birth. This unique family situation has taught me to appreciate and celebrate all the small moments in life and share that mindset with my students as well.
